Cancers and genetics  Cancers are genetic due to a genetic process that happens in a cell that allows that cell to grow uncontrollably into a cancerous cell but not all cancers are hereditary, only about 10% of all cancer diagnoses are due to a hereditary reason. The more common types of hereditary cancers include cancers such as, Breast cancer pancreatic colorectal prostate cancer stomach cancers about 20 to 25 percent of ovarian cancers are due to hereditary reasons.  while most cancer is not hereditary. Different diagnoses can make us more suspicious that there is a hereditary predisposition to cancer in a family. In humans, these organs are lined with a special type of tissue called epithelium that acts as a sponge, trapping fluids and toxins before they can enter the bloodstream. When we sneeze or cough, some of this fluid comes through our airways, but most of it is trapped in our small skin pores by mucus, which forms at the end of the nose and mouth. It is usually clear to the naked eye, but if you have an allergy or cold, there is often more trouble with the upper respiratory tract.
